Well, this is the last month of summer. I hope you survived back to school. I hope you were able to take a vacation or at least a few days off. We all work hard, we deserve it. Personally, I’m finishing up my first attempt at a garden. The number one thing I learned was not to plant too much in a small area. All this technology will drive a person insane and this is my escape. The tomatoes, squash and zucchini were very good.
Windows 10 Anniversary Update
If you have Windows 10, be sure to get the Windows 10 Anniversary Update. It is loaded with many new features and my computer feels a little bit faster too. I have not noticed any issues with my programs or games. Cortana, the speech recognition program, is the biggest upgrade. Haven’t had much time to play it yet. You can easily upgrade by going to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10/, click the Update Now button and download and run the program. Will take about an hour depending on the speed of your computer.
Software Life-Cycle
We added a neat feature to our website. Now you can see the date when common programs and operating systems reach their end of life. For instance Office 2007 will reach end of life October 10, 2017. Remember, you may own that software forever, but that does mean it is going to work with your computers forever.

You can access the Client Port here. All you need is a ticket number and your last name. We can also create a permanent username and password, but you’ll need to email or call us so we can create it for you.
