Netflix has created a new website to test the speed of your Internet connection.
I’ve always used speedtest.net but have been frustrated with all the advertisements. Those ads can can cause the page to take forever to load. And if you are on a slow computer, it can be maddening.
So Netflix create Fast.com. No ads and nothing special. It just tells you the download speed. This of course is not as comprehensive as speedtest.net, but most of the time you only want to know the download speed anyway.
